My journey with God has always been a bumpy road rather than a smooth highway. There have been times when I would just want to shout out the word of God to people and times when I would be too tired or lazy to even go down on my knees and pray.
Mustard Ministries has been a big help in this path of mine. I joined Musteens in 2020 for the online Zoom classes, which have helped me to strengthen my faith in God. Mustard has been able to help me get my foundation strong and firm.
After my second class, we were asked to have a prayer buddy, to talk and know them and to pray for each other. Sometimes when you are down, all you need is a person to pray with you and for you. It’s a wonderful experience to learn the word of God with people who are going through the same struggles as you are and to know that you are not the only one going through difficulties.
To be in this world and not from it is not easy …. but it’s comforting to know that you have fellow soldiers of Christ fighting with you on the same battlefield. Neither is it easy to give God the wheels and let him take control of your life. Sometimes we feel we can do better with our lives but forget that God our Father has the best at Heart for us. Even if we can’t see the big picture, God can. He knows what’s best for us and sometimes all we need to do is trust Him.
The moment I heard that we kids could help the ministry, I wanted to sign up, wanted to be like salt for Christ. And to join the sprouts was one of the best decisions I have made. It is beautiful to see small kids praising and giving God the glory for everything, be it a challenge they faced or getting an A+ for their assignment.
Being with and in Christ is a wonderful joy and Lincy Aunty has helped me in that journey. I hope to continue this journey hand in hand with Christ, doing the will He has for my life and to be the person He made me to be.
