In 2020, when the covid pandemic began, the Lord impressed on our hearts the urgency of corporate worship and prayer. We received our direction from Amos 9:11-12 and Acts 15: 16-17 and were enabled to bring believers from across the nations, for regular times of worship prayer and decrees, once a month. These times of worship and prayer strengthened, encouraged, and empowered believers to stand united during some perilous times. God was doing a new thing, and it was our privilege to partner with Him. Rebuilding the Altar was thus birthed.
This year, as we prayed and contemplated a revival of Rebuilding the Altar, we had the words, ‘In Touch with The Throne’ impressed on our hearts. As we waited on the Lord, we understood that the Lord wants us to gather as one man in worship and prayer for the nation of India and the nations. Our direction came from Revelation 7:11-12 “All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever.”
In Hebrews 4:16 we are invited to “approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
The aging apostle John, exiled on the isle of Patmos, was challenged to come up higher to the Throne room of heaven.
We believe the Lord is issuing an urgent invite to His church which in many places is fearful, obscure, hidden, ridiculed, criticized and burdened. As believers in Jesus Christ, we must be prepared to come boldly to the throne of grace, burying distraction, division, pride, self-sufficiency, affluence and ease, and seek the Lord as one.
So, what are you waiting for? Come, be in touch with the Throne. We meet in person every Every 3rd Saturday at 6-8pm IST at No 65/6 A.P.Complex, 2nd Floor, Sarjapur Main Road, Agara Village, Bangalore 560102.
We rejoice as the river from the throne of God flows through the land. May it bring liberty and oneness in the body of Christ, for His glory.
