Our vision for Mustard Café is to be a place that is infused with the warmth of God’s presence; where our tables overflow and nourish the body and soul as we share the gospel message through ‘real’ conversations. Our delicious food is just a bonus.
In September 2022, we had an opportunity to take up and manage an existing café at Catholic Club. On visiting the café, we had the peace that the Lord was in it. Inspired by the biblical story of David plundering the enemy’s camp, we knew we were meant to reach a new group of people in this season. We took over the café, revamped the kitchen, and introduced our unique menu. For the past two years, Mustard Café has been serving Continental cuisine, including steaks, burgers, and salads, alongside Asian, sub-Mexican, and Mediterranean dishes to a diverse set of people.
In March 2024, we had the opportunity to operate a cafe counter at Deutsche Bank in Electronic City, serving Continental cuisines and fresh, healthy food options.
Despite initial reservations about investing in a new venture, we visited the location and discovered a fully equipped kitchen ready for use. Prayerfully, we decided to take on this new challenge. On May 20, 2024, we opened Mustard Café at Deutsche Bank.
Currently, Mustard Café operates at two main locations: Catholic Club and Deutsche Bank. Our journey has been marked by God’s guidance and unexpected opportunities, and we are committed to expanding our reach further in the future. Through our cafés, we aim to bring wholesome, delicious food and a positive influence to every community we serve.
Our passion is to build a strong community in which solid long-term friendships can thrive and new relationships can grow.
In everything, we seek to maintain a Gospel focus. We often observe that warm food and heartfelt conversations go hand in hand. We use the opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus, the Bread of Life and the only One who satisfies.
Our goal is that the excellence in our food and the acceptance and authenticity of our interactions will reflect Christ’s heart for people and fellowship.
